Lovers Key State Park is just 5 minutes south by car, with Bonita Springs and Naples beyond.

Season on Estero Island runs December through April.

  • January–March — peak. Warm, dry, busiest. Also MLB Spring Training season, with Red Sox and Twins games nearby.
  • April, November, December — shoulder. Still warm, quieter, easier availability.
  • May–October — off-season. Hot and humid, calm island, lowest rates. Hurricane season runs June through November.

Good to Know

  • Independently managed — Gull Wing has both resort-managed and privately owned units. Island Time Too is privately managed, so guests use Coast & Range's digital concierge rather than the on-site Sunstream desk. Resort amenities are fully available.
  • South end, not Times Square — quieter, with the widest beaches on the island. Villa Santini Plaza is walkable; the trolley runs to Times Square.
  • Security cameras — in resort hallways and common areas. None inside the unit.
  • Longer stays welcome — bookings of 28 nights or more are allowed.
