Welcome to our charming, rustic Mountain Cabin! Tucked away on 2.5 private acres, this bespoke three-bedroom lodge features wooded land and cozy surroundings for families & friends. Heart Pine Lodge is located just 7 minutes from downtown Clayton, GA.

Heart Pine Lodge is self check-in for your convenience! You can expect a five-star stay — we provide a digital concierge to help with your reservation and assist in planning your time in the mountains.
For guest safety as well as property security, one exterior camera is located at the entryway. This is a private, single-family home with full guest access throughout.
“What a delightful little place! I read in the 1961 Guest Book that the place was called Look Away Lodge... it was a time that our family needed to ‘look away’ from some events and fix our eyes on others. We were able to do that in this quiet place. Another thing that blessed my heart was the kid-friendly touches. My two little grandkids had toys, books, and their own beds tucked away in the attic. So thankful for Lauren, the host, and her concern for our stay.”

— Third bedroom: queen bed, twin bed with twin trundle, and a crib available — perfect for kids or groups traveling together
— All bedrooms feature high-quality linens, plush pillows, and cozy touches for a restful stay

Fireplace sitting room: warm wood interiors, bookshelves full of books, and vintage details including a wood-burning stove, plus a comfortable nook that’s perfect for reading, writing, or remote work when needed

Bathrooms: Heart Pine Lodge has 3 full bathrooms, giving everyone plenty of space to get ready and unwind. Downstairs, the primary en-suite offers its own walk-in shower and private retreat and a second full bathroom features a walk-in shower for easy access. Upstairs, the third bathroom includes a tub/shower combo, perfect for kids’ bath time or a relaxing soak after a day of adventure.
Laundry: Standard washer and dryer are available for guest use. We provide laundry soap and dryer sheets for your convenience.
